When I started my company, my main goal was to provide women with affordable and personal development resources that would help them learn to love themselves. Because let's face it, self-love is the key ingredient for creating a lifestyle that truly resonates with who we are.
Today, I want to dive into the concept of creating your vibe. You might have heard this term before, but what does it really mean? Essentially, your vibe is all about embracing your essence and authenticity. It's those moments when you feel completely in tune with yourself and everything just falls into place.
Living Your Dreams in Real Time
Picture this: a few weeks ago, I attended my cousin's wedding, and my sister-in-law organized a glamorous brunch downtown. Everything about that day was perfect. I was dressed to impress, and my vibe was off the charts. It was a moment where I felt like I was truly living out my dreams.
But here's the thing—living your dreams isn't about waiting for some distant destination. It's about finding joy in the journey itself. Life is a series of moments between birth and death, and it's up to us to make the most of each moment along the way. We don't have to suffer through the journey for the sake of reaching the destination.
Intentionally Creating Your Life
To truly create your vibe, you need to live an intentional life. It's about curating an existence that nurtures your soul and aligns with your true self. Here are some steps to help you create your vibe:
1. Having a Vision: Start by envisioning the lifestyle you want. Create a vision board that represents your dreams and desires. Believe that if someone else has achieved something similar, you can too. Find evidence that it's possible and let that belief guide you.
2. Mindset, Emotions, and Habits: Dive into the mindset, emotions, and habits of the person living your dream lifestyle. Follow people who already have that mindset to help you shift your own. Identify your default emotions and work on changing them to align with the future self you want to become. Incorporate habits into your daily life that reflect the person you're striving to be.
3. Embrace the Journey: Don't wait for the destination to start feeling the emotions you desire. Start incorporating activities, rituals, or habits into your daily life that make you feel the way you want to feel. Don't delay feeling confident until you achieve a specific goal—start embracing confidence now.
Building Your Habits
Building new habits can be challenging, but it's essential for creating your vibe. Here are some tips:
1. Start Small: Don't overwhelm yourself by trying to change everything overnight. Start with small, manageable changes that you can incorporate into your daily routine.
2. Celebrate Your Progress: Celebrate your achievements, no matter how small they may seem. Practice being proud of yourself and build your confidence along the way.
